Senior School

As students move into middle school, they choose between pottery and art & design based on their growing interests. Our pottery curriculum for these grades introduces and strengthens one hand-building technique each year—pinching, coiling, and slab-rolling. Their projects draw inspiration from legendary artists, helping students interpret real artistic styles while developing their own identity as creators.
Senior School
In senior school, students advance to wheel-work and use the hand-building skills they developed earlier to design and produce refined clay pieces. They are also introduced to advanced techniques including sgrafitto, mono-printing, mishima, glazing, and decorative surface treatments.
Pottery continues to be offered as a co-curricular activity up to Grade 10, and it is available as a preferred art medium for students pursuing IB art courses. For many learners, this journey becomes not just a creative outlet but a powerful tool for self-reflection and emotional expression.
